This is old, but to add onto this, people need to remember the Santa clause that was drawn on MS Paint:

Other than that, everyone saying MS Paint is an excuse to suck is wrong- though I respect the opinions. Many people can make beautiful art on any program. It merely takes creativity and patience to draw a picture no matter your skill set. Sure the new drawing programs invite brushes and pen pressure, but think about pixel art. If you're using the dot brush on Medibang.... you're technically using the pencil tool on MS Paint at it's minimum setting. Don't believe me?

I don't have my pen for my tablet so Paint came out a little awkward due to the mouse, but they're basically the same thing. MS Paint can definitely be used for pixel art and- as the Santa Clause proves- for much more.
